Okay, I’ll admit it: I’m not a point ‘n click guy. I’m more about reaction time, nuanced button-tapping, or even strategic stat managing than I am point/click puzzles. When I’m walking around aimlessly for 20 minutes trying to figure out what to do next—ego, patience and sanity withering all the while—I get cranky. So let me be clear here: Armikrog is for people who like tough puzzles.

That being said, I didn’t dislike Armikrog. Claymation never ceases to entertain with its quaint flamboyance, and the characters and setting are absurd enough to stay interesting from room to room. It’s just that, dang, I would definitely need a walkthrough on hand to enjoy a full playthrough of this one. So hopefully my starter video can get you through a hump or two if you are about to take the plunge into Armikrog, which happens to be out later today on Steam, GOG, and several other online retailers.
